Privacy

Last updated: August 14, 2026

This privacy notice covers hirereel.io, rachelgulley.com, and the services Rachel Gulley and Reel provide through those sites.

It explains what information we collect, why we use it, who helps us process it, and the choices you have.

Information you choose to share

When you send an inquiry, join a study interest list, or book a conversation, we may collect your name, email, company, scheduling details, payment details, and anything you choose to share in a form or message. Payment providers process payment card information; Reel does not receive your full card number.

A Reel Conversation or research interview may be recorded and transcribed only after the participant receives the relevant information and agrees. Research participation, recordings, and any public use of a person's name, image, voice, or story are handled through separate consent.

Website and analytics information

Both sites use Google Analytics, and hirereel.io also uses Microsoft Clarity. These services may collect information such as browser and device type, approximate location, pages viewed, links clicked, and how you interact with a page. They may use cookies or similar technology. Your browser and the providers' settings may give you ways to limit this collection.

How we use information

We use information to respond to you, schedule and deliver services, create agreed deliverables, run research, process payments, improve the sites, keep our systems secure, and understand which pages and offers are useful. We do not add website inquiries to a marketing list unless you separately choose to join one.

Reel may combine and summarize themes, patterns, and lessons from conversations for research or content. A research partner may receive findings agreed in the project scope. Names, identifying details, raw recordings, and transcripts are not shared with a partner or made public unless the participant gives separate permission.

Tools and service providers

Reel uses service providers for website hosting, email delivery, scheduling, payments, analytics, transcription, document creation, and AI-assisted analysis or drafting. They receive only the information reasonably needed to provide their service. AI-assisted work is reviewed by a person. Reel does not sell personal information or intentionally submit personal conversation content for public model training.

How long we keep information

We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the service, research project, business record, security, or legal purpose for which it was collected. Recording and transcript retention may also be set in the applicable consent form or business agreement. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or remove identifying details where practical.

Your choices

You can ask what personal information Reel has about you, request a correction or deletion, withdraw a consent that applies going forward, or ask a privacy question. Some information may need to be retained for contractual, payment, security, or legal reasons. Email rachel@rachelgulley.com.

Changes to this notice

This notice may change as Reel's services and tools change. The current version and updated date will stay on this page.
